Apparition Brewing
Sugar Hill, GA
What a weird place to have a brewery. The exterior made us think the building was once a care home lol. Apparition is located in the Sugarhill Distillery which is cool because they had liquor and beer that were both made there. It is also a full-service restaurant which is what seemed to really draw the crowd here. Their food looked good, we only shared an order of cheese curds with raspberry jam - my favorite part was the jam. I enjoyed a flight - Roggen IPA (Rye IPA), Alice IPA, Go To Hell! Hefeweizen, and the Chaotic Dunkel. Ray had two Lagers - the Lager Kolsch and a Czech Bohemian Lager. The beer was average and the vibes were giving small-town local-restaurant. I’d like to visit again for brunch and their bottomless mimosas but the beer wouldn’t call us back. - B
