Sandhills Brewing

Sandhills Brewing is the second stop we made in Hutchinson. I would describe it as a conversation-type brewery or somewhere you go to knock out work or school. It is an old mechanic shop and it’s made up of multiple connecting rooms. Two rooms are where the brewing happens and the other two are open for seating. They only had about six beers on tap and this is their second location, the first being in Mission, KS. They had funkier beers and brewed in smaller batches which I enjoy because it usually means you can try something new every time you go. I enjoyed a Honey IPA but they didn’t have many options for Ray. Between Sandhills and Salt City, Hutchinson has the perfect mix of breweries. - B
